what is alaska youth conference?

Alaska Youth Conference is a gathering of middle school, high school, and college-aged (18-22 yrs) students from across Alaska coming together to encounter God, grow in their faith, and discover what it means to fully follow Jesus. This generation was created for a purpose. Our heart is to see students filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit, equipped with boldness, and sent out to make a difference in their schools, families, churches, and communities.
At AKYC, students will experience powerful worship, life-changing messages, and moments that challenge them to step deeper into their relationship with Jesus.
This is a weekend to leave behind distractions, say yes to God's calling, and take the next step of faith.
The question is simple: Will you go?
Will you follow Jesus wherever He leads?
It’s time for this generation to rise up, live boldly, and declare:  “Let’s Go — I Will Follow Jesus.”

  • Students will stay with the group at all times unless prior arrangements are made

  • All clothing must be modest & appropriate

  • Drugs, alcohol, or tobacco products are not allowed, without exception including vapes

  • Treat others and their belongings with respect

  • Have a positive & encouraging attitude

  • Love one another

  • Have fun & expect great things from the Lord!

STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO UNPLUG FROM SOCIAL MEDIA AND CELL PHONES TO FOCUS ON GOD DURING THE WEEKEND. IF POSSIBLE, PLEASE LEAVE YOUR DEVICES AT HOME.
